Hi my name is Shira and I am a mixed media artist from Vienna.

2013 I received my BA at Hetzendorf Fashion School in Cooperation with Kunstuniversität Linz. 

2015-2016 I studied illustration in Vienna and  Tel Aviv. 

Following my studies, I travelled the world where I let myself get inspired for my artwork.

I bring together a wide range of techniques in my work – from photo overpainting and abstract acrylic painting to fine art photography and reverse glass painting.

I draw inspiration from both the everyday and the extraordinary – whether it’s a withered flower, the play of light on water, or an architectural detail that catches my eye while traveling. Anything can become the starting point for a new piece.

My creative process often begins with the question of what truly touches or moves me – and each work is an attempt to capture those sensations visually.

Art and travel are my two great passions, closely intertwined. The countless impressions I gather on my journeys flow directly into my practice, and by using a variety of materials, I continually discover new ways to express my ideas and concepts.

Driven by a fascination for unexpected combinations, I invite you to immerse yourself in my experimental world.
